Winter Solstice Revelation 2004

Posted on | December 22, 2004 | No Comments

Last night as I was watching the flames of the Yule fire at Becoming’s solstice ritual, a thought came to me.

A fish cannot not fly like a bird, no matter how hard he tries. A mitrochronion serves a specific purpose in a certain way. Humans often try to be what they are not. We are so busy trying to be more spiritual beings, more like the gods, more like angels. Maybe we should try to just be better humans.

With this in mind, what is there about humans and humanity that may be unique to us. What are our strengths? How can we be the best humans we can be?
