Shrine for Ocean Mother

July 15th, 2008

As I mentioned yesterday, I have finished my shrine for Ocean Mother, or Yemaya. Unlike other shrines I have made, I do not know who this one “belongs” to. So, I am selling it via my Etsy store, Nine Ravens Studio.

Shrine for Yemaya, Ocean Mother

If you know someone who is called to the Ocean, to Yemaya in her many names, please forward this link to them or consider purchasing the shrine as a gift. Of course, that person could also be you.

I’m floored by all the wonderful responses. Thank you!

Karin, when I create, I usually know who the work is for — myself, a friend, my journal, a book I’m working on. This one is definitely meant to go to someone else — I just don’t know that person yet.

Carly, yes, I would love another wine casket!

    Oh, and p.s. —
I just copied down this beautiful quote last night from TheCosmicPath.com — seems to fit:

    I am the ocean
    You are the waves
    Know this and be free
