These first two (Bridghid on the left, Inanna on the right) were done in August of this year. I just realized that I hadn’t posted them yet.

Bridghid Inanna

These are two version of Kether. I’m like the one with the more glowing background, but like the embryo of the other better. I haven’t figured out how to get the just the right affect yet.

As always, I’d love to hear what you think, and what insights/thoughts are sparked by these images.

These are great. I especially like the one of Brigid. I love that it’s a photograph of a woman rather than a drawing. It’s more alive. I also like that she’s in the flames. Brigid was long worshiped as the flame itself before she was anthropomorphic.

Brigid is absolutely stunning! Excellent imagery. I agree with your preference for the Keter image with the glowing background, but I am confused that Keter is represented by discernible form?

A second look erased my confusion. :) After some time away, I saw a different way to look at Keter’s image rather than my initial interpretation and now see Keter as the light rather than the actual form. Pardon me.

    Aeris,

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with your comment about Kether not having discernible form, which is why I like the one with more emphasis on the light. I’m also not an abstract artist, so having no form is difficult to depict in a visual medium where everything has some form. And a blank white image would not be visually appealing, at least to me.

A blank white image might get a bit dull, lol Sorry about the confusion, Look Twice Post Once is my new mantra :)
